Ostinato Muse is an online art gallery curating fine and folk art, with a focus on work that energizes and elevates the human spirit. We seek out art inspired by the natural world, as well as contemporary abstract work, compelling figures, and thoughtfully inventive pieces. In contrast to many online art galleries with overwhelming inventory in the hundreds of thousands of pieces for sale, Ostinato Muse is small, homegrown, and boutique in its speciality focus. Our collections intentionally emphasize emerging and established artists working in specific geographic regions. Our current focus is on New York’s Hudson Valley and Middle Tennessee/Nashville. We’re setting distinctive creative communities in conversation with each other, as we believe such dynamics in a collection are more interesting than just listing lots of art for sale and pointing algorithms at it.
